Hi! I’m your host,
Alison Ryan, M. Ed.

Since 2005, I’ve worked in schools in a variety of roles including classroom teacher, reading interventionist, reading specialist, and Director of Curriculum & Instruction. Along the way, I’ve earned my master’s degree in literacy leadership, become certified in Structured Literacy as a Dyslexia Specialist, received an ESL endorsement, and trained in the Orton-Gillingham method.

With extensive experience as a classroom teacher and Reading Specialist, I've seen firsthand the powerful impact of the small group system and activities I'll share in this webinar. I’ve used these strategies for nearly two decades—even in a class with students whose skills ranged from Kindergarten to 6th grade—so I know it works.

Join me and let’s ditch the stress around small groups!

"I’ve been to several of her virtual classes. I teach first grade, and I think they’re absolutely awesome. I have been teaching for 37 years, but every time I watch her, it helps me refresh and review what we’re teaching and how all of this works together."

Does this sound familiar?

You sit down to plan your small groups for next week, determined to make them go more smoothly this time.

First, you review your notes on each group. Some of your groups are a year (maybe more) behind, some are on track, and others are far ahead.

You rack your brain and comb through your files and the internet, searching for just-right activities and materials that will really help each child.

And suddenly, it’s dark outside. You glance at the clock and realize it’s an hour later than you intended to leave - and your plans still aren’t finished.

You sigh with frustration and start gathering your belongings. You really want all your students to get what they need, but differentiating without burning yourself out feels just about impossible.

If that hits home, this webinar is for you.

In just one hour, I’ll show you how to refresh your small groups with 10 engaging, ready-to-go activities that meet the needs of every reader. You’ll walk away with practical strategies for pacing, differentiating, and keeping your groups engaging—so you can make big gains without added stress.

You deserve small groups that help your students thrive and give you your time back.

This webinar is your first step toward that.

Can’t wait to see you there,
- Alison
